Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American sportscaster. She's an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation occasionally. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. Since she was nine years old, Collins's capacity to communicate in two languages helped her get a job in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. As an assistant producer, she had the opportunity to collaborate with national program producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. After 2009, the news reporter relocated from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as in addition to Fox2 News. Also, she would fill in at times as a news and sport anchor. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate and she assumed other responsibilities. She was a reporter for the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. She was advertised as anchoring sports for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. The anchor also worked in the same role as the show's magazine Primer Impacto and for UniMas Network's Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collin's parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. Her birth date was November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1984 in Mexico City. She also has a younger sibling. She is the older sister. They divorced shortly thereafter in 1995. Her mother remarried one of the naval architects named Fabio Fajardo who died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, the young Collins was able to take a job with her older sister. Antonietta was a senior in high school, yet she knew exactly what career path she wanted to pursue. When she was deciding whether Mount Union was right for her, Antonietta visited the university. The result was that she was a fan of the campus and that the school had the program she desired. She finished school and enrolled at the University as an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a part. They developed a close relationship. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to have self-confidence and was deeply moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
